Hidden gem. The food and service was outstanding! We have now been to this restaurant 3x. I highly recommend this place as they have yet to disappoint. The server is extremely helpful and friendly. For dinner, the duck is the best I have ever had, cooked to perfection. I've tried it many times at many restaurants, and others do not compare.

Romantic ambience on the upper back porch on a warm early summer day. Feels like an open treehouse! The sea foam margarita was the best cocktail I've had in a long time, and the food was excellent. Service was good, but a little slow (they seemed a bit understaffed for the outside) Will have to try the coffee dessert drink they flambe at tableside next time! Will definitely be back!

This is absolute my favorite restaurant in the down town Rehoboth. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Servers are also great and always happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Rehoboth

This was my second experience at the Back Porch. I ordered the omelet with pears and cambozola cheese (it's a very pungent blue cheese which I learned after the fact). I ordered it because I have never had a sweet/savory omelet-aside from the cheese being a bit too strong for me, it was a well made omelet. I loved the pears. My sister wasn't too impressed with the chicken salad but I tasted it and I thought it was good and I liked the different presentation of the chicken salad being between 2 slices of tomato. They also have great fun drinks. If you get a seat within the "porch" section of the restaurant, it's bright and lovely.

Visited Delaware to look at houses and tour the state. Stopped at Rehoboth beach of course on 9/28 and had lunch here. OMG, surprisingly amazing food! What an excellent find! The ambiance is relaxed but I can just imagine how busy they get during the peak summer season. The service is good. Highly recommended for all visiting Rehoboth. Unfortunately, we are from New Jersey so we will not be able to frequently enjoy their food.

Service top notch! From host to bartender and all in-between. Drinks were perfect! Great wine selection at reasonable price. Dinners delicious. We shared a perfectly cooked filet with au gratin potatoes and a roasted eggplant stuffed with saffron rice in marinara. Perfect.

Been coming to Rehoboth Beach since 1992, Back Porch has always been my favorite restaurant. The service is friendly and helpful, atmosphere is relaxed but upscale, and the food is consistently delicious. My favorite meal starts with a pear martini, followed by sweetbreads, then the duck, ending with the bread pudding. If I haven’t had too much of their fabulous wine selections I’ll also share a house coffee since it’s too big (and strong) to drink by myself. We are moving to RB in the spring and I hope to make a weekly visit to The Back Porch!

Love everything about The Back Porch! It’s our favorite spot for celebrations and special occasions. Every single thing on the menu is delicious! A few of my go-to’s are the peppered cured loin of tuna, grilled octopus, English pea salad (best salad ever!!), halibut, scallops and the beef tenderloin! Oh and the House Coffee is the best dessert drink in Rehoboth!
